How is WorldMobile different from other travel apps?
Unlike airline, hotel, or rideshare apps that only show individual bookings, WorldMobile brings everything together—flights, hotels, and ground transportation—into a single, easy-to-access itinerary. This simplifies the traveler experience while supporting company program’s goals.

What are the key features and functionalities available in WorldMobile?

WorldMobile is designed to support travelers every step of the way—before, during, and after a trip. Key features include: 

  • Centralized itineraries – View all trip details in one place, even for multi-PNR trips, with easy sharing options for colleagues or family. 
  • Planning and navigation tools – Access airport maps, city guides, cultural tips, and local activities to make getting around and making the most of your destination easier. 
  • Quick communication – Call or email a travel agent with one tap, launch the online booking tool, or book a rideshare directly from the app. 
  • Real-time alerts – Get pre-trip reminders, check-in notifications, and real-time flight updates to stay on top of every leg of your journey. 
  • Emergency support – Use GPS location sharing and access local emergency contact information when you need it most. 
  • Profile updates – View and update important profile fields (when enabled) like loyalty numbers, travel preferences, and contact details directly within the app. 
  • Invoice access – Use the MyInvoice feature (when enabled) to download flight, hotel, car, and fee invoices for easy expense reporting. 
  • In-app chat (coming in 2025) – Travelers will soon be able to chat directly with an agent, giving them even more flexibility to get help on-the-go. 
Is the mobile app free to download and use?

Yes, WorldMobile is free to download, register, and use. Travelers can follow these simple 5 steps to get started! 

Does the app support SSO?

Yes, WorldMobile can support company SSO for corporate devices utilizing managed device software through SAML 2.0. Please contact your account manager if this functionality is desired. Additional fees may apply. 

Who can use the WorldMobile app?

WorldMobile is available to any employee who has an active traveler profile with World Travel, Inc. This ensures upcoming trips are automatically synced and visible in the app. Once registered, travelers can easily manage itineraries, get real-time alerts, and take full advantage of the app’s features on the go. 

If employees are unsure about their profile status or need help getting started, your travel team or account manager can assist with setup and guidance. 

Are travelers creating a new profile when registering for WorldMobile?

No, registering for WorldMobile does not create a new traveler profile. The app pulls details from the traveler’s existing profile with World Travel, Inc. To ensure the app accurately syncs itineraries, travelers must register using the same email address associated with their current profile. 

Can multiple phone numbers/email addresses be added for an account?

For a traveler account, only one email and one phone number can be associated with a profile in WorldMobile. 

What should a traveler do if their email address changes?

Travelers should contact the online help desk at onlinehelp@worldtravelinc.com, or call (800)-221-4730. The team can help update the email address used for their WorldMobile registration. 

Will all trips appear in the app?

Yes. All future trips booked after a traveler has downloaded and registered on WorldMobile will automatically appear—whether the booking is made online or through a travel agent. 

Previously booked trips will not populate, so we recommend registering as soon as possible to ensure all upcoming travel is captured and easily accessible in one place. 

Can travelers book a trip through WorldMobile?

WorldMobile is designed to help travelers manage trips, not book them directly. However, it offers quick access to your company’s preferred online booking tool and an easy way to contact a travel agent. 

From the app menu, travelers can: 

  • Launch the company’s online booking tool (like Concur) to create a new trip 
  • Call or email a World Travel, Inc. agent directly for assistance with booking 

Once a trip is booked—whether online or with an agent—it will automatically sync to the app, giving travelers a centralized place to manage their itinerary, receive real-time updates, and access helpful travel tools. 

Note: WorldMobile does not trigger a single sign-on (SSO) itself, but it will open your online booking tool’s app if installed. If SSO is set up on your device, it will work as expected. 

What is considered a trip?

In WorldMobile, a trip is any combination of air, hotel, and car reservations that are connected or have overlapping dates. Even if multiple booking records (PNRs) are used, the app groups them into a single trip for easy access. 

For example, if a traveler leaves on Monday and travels for two weeks across three cities, staying in three different hotels and renting two cars, all these details will appear as one trip in the app—no need to manage separate itineraries. 

A traveler’s trip will include flight details, hotel and car confirmation numbers, and direct contact information for quick access while on the go. Everything is in one place, making it easier to stay organized. 

How soon will an itinerary show up in the app after a trip is booked?

Itineraries will appear in WorldMobile within one hour of being created. 

What if a trip doesn’t appear in the app?

If a trip does not appear, please contact onlinehelp@worldtravelinc.com, or call (800)-221-4730. 

Can a travel agent be contacted through the app?

Yes, travelers can click to call or email their travel agent team through WorldMobile. Chat capabilities are in development and will soon become available as well. 

Does WorldMobile send flight changes and updates?

Yes, WorldMobile can send itinerary-based push notifications of any alerts or updates, as well as flight check-in reminders.  

Can invoices and receipts be accessed through the app?

Yes, travelers can navigate to the “My Invoices” menu option to find all their World Travel, Inc. invoices. They can also download and email their invoices for easy expense reporting.
