Can you book or change a trip through WorldMobile?

WorldMobile is not a booking application, rather a traveler companion. Within this, you have two options to create a trip when using the app. First, you can use the online booking tool link on the menu bar to guide you to the Concur mobile application, and create a trip there. Second, you can click the contact button found on that same menu bar within the WorldMobile application, and this will give you a phone number to contact a World Travel, Inc. agent who will assist you in booking your trip.

 

Can multiple phone numbers/email addresses be added for an account?

For a traveler account, only one email and one phone number can be associated with a profile in WorldMobile.
Does WorldMobile support SSO?

Yes, WorldMobile can support company SSO for corporate devices utilizing managed device software through SAML 2.0. Please contact your account manager if this functionality is desired. Additional fees may apply.
Do you need the WorldMobile app in order to get Text to Travel?

The only consideration for being on Text to Travel is that the account is using WorldTravel’s phone system to connect with their agent team.
Can WorldMobile support custom push notifications to travelers?

We have contextual notifications. These can be created based on time, location, and status. We can set these up for the company to use as a form of static push notifications.
Does WorldMobile support SSO into online booking mobile apps such as SAP Concur Mobile or Deem/Etta?

WorldMobile does not trigger an SSO protocol directly between itself and SAP Concur or Deem/Etta’s mobile apps. WorldMobile will simply call the online booking tool apps to open from the user’s device. If SSO is already configured for these mobile booking apps, that protocol will be invoked when the user clicks to access the apps from within WorldMobile.
Who can use WorldMobile?

Any WorldTravel, Inc. client can use WorldMobile if their company has been implemented and has access to it. If you would like to use WorldMobile and the company has not yet been implemented, please talk to your travel manager and we will get you setup.
Will travelers receive flight status updates through WorldMobile?
Travelers will receive flight status updates through WorldMobile. All flight status updates would be located when you click onto the bell icon at the top of the screen.
Who should travelers contact if they have issues registering or navigating WorldMobile?

When will I see trips I have already booked within the application?

Once you register for WorldMobile you will start receiving your trips in the application. Trips created prior to registration will not be in the application.

Can you register WorldMobile globally?

WorldMobile allows registration in most countries around the world. 

 

World Travel, Inc. follows best practices for delivering SMS messages globally. In a small percent of the cases, the process cannot deliver SMS codes successfully to all requests even in countries where SMS not restricted by Amazon Web Services and government regulations.  Unfortunately, we are unable to determine all factors that may prevent certain individuals from receiving the SMS codes internationally given the combination of phone carriers and phone settings.

 

If you have any questions about countries that are very important to your travelers, please contact your account manager with a list of countries and we will review and give you feedback to set expectations for your travelers.
