Jim has lead World Travel from its days as a two-employee company to its current annual sales totals of more than $1 billion. His years of experience and deep understanding of the corporate travel landscape have made him an industry visionary with a firm commitment to the company’s clients and his team. Jim’s favorite vacation destination is the Pocono Mountains. He enjoys spending time with his family, including his two Rottweilers.
Liz started at World Travel 29 years ago as a part-time after-hours agent. She now oversees all aspects of the company and manages vendor relations and contracts. Liz managed the company’s leisure department and served as managing director, senior vice president, and president before being named president and CEO. She has served on the advisory boards of several airlines and is currently a member of the Airline Reporting Corporation’s executive council and Delta’s advisory board. Liz received the ASTA Barbara O’Hara advocacy award for her work on Capitol Hill in 2013. Liz’s favorite vacation destinations are Italy and Paris, and she enjoys traveling and cooking.
Mike oversees World Travel’s sales and marketing teams. He brings more than 20 years of travel industry and a holistic knowledge of travel management to our corporate, leisure and meeting divisions. You may know him as the MC of our symposia and other industry events; delivering a fun and educational networking opportunity for our guests is one of his passions. Mike’s favorite travel destinations are Ireland and the Outer Banks. Mike enjoys running and craft beers, especially IPAs.
Pam joined World Travel in 2014 and has over 30 years of travel and tourism experience. As Executive Vice President of Operations and Operations Technology, Pam establishes the corporate operational vision and strategy of the organization that provides optimal service performance that is aligned with the objectives of all World Travel accounts. Pam is a graduate of Massasoit Community College for Travel and Tourism and holds a B.S. in Leadership from Northeastern University. Her favorite travel destination is everywhere; “Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer” (anonymous quote). In her free time, she loves to be outdoors and spend time with family and friends (two- and four-legged).
Barb joined World Travel team in 1987 as an agent on the reservation floor and now oversees the company’s National Account Manager Team as SVP. She has served as the manager of the after-hours reservation department, an account manager, and the Director of client services since she arrived at the company. Barb holds a degree in travel and tourism from Brandywine College. Barb enjoys reading and hiking. Her favorite vacation destination for relaxation is Jamaica, but she loves to visit new places in the United States and around the world.
Lisa oversees World Travel’s team of talented global account managers and Agency Partner relationships around the world. She brings over 30 years of travel industry experience to the company. Lisa started her career as a travel counselor, eventually moving into account management. Throughout her career she has held positions as hotel sales manager, M&E manager, Travel Manager, Director of Account Management and senior vice president of account management. Lisa loves the adventure of traveling to new places and experiencing new cultures, but her soulful place is France, specifically Paris and Reims. Her creative outlet is interior design—she’s redecorated several rooms for friends and family—and she enjoys boating and kayaking.
Ivan facilitates World Travel’s technology transformations while improving efficiency and customer satisfaction. Ivan’s 25 years of industry experience have made him an expert on the intersection of technology and customer service. He’s been recognized with a CIO 100 Award from CIO International, a Concur Innovation Award and a CIO of the Year award from the Society of Information Management. Ivan’s favorite vacation destination is Hawaii. He enjoys racing cars, riding motorcycles and surfing.
Chris is responsible for the monthly and annual close of the company’s financial records, developing GAAP accounting policies and procedure and overseeing the finance and accounting department. Chris served in management roles with Hay Group, Cmedia and Continuum Health Care before joining World Travel. In these previous positions, he was responsible for managing domestic and international internal audits, budget preparation and the integration of several acquisitions into company policy and financial processes. He is a certified public accountant and earned a degree from the University of Scranton. Chris enjoys running and woodworking in his spare time. His favorite vacation destination is Hawaii, with Australia and South Africa tied for a close second.
Mark is World Travel’s chief financial officer. He worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Aramark and QVC, where he was a member of the original management team and served as the company’s travel manager among other responsibilities, and as an independent business adviser before joining the World Travel team in 2016. Mark graduated from Penn State University and earned his MBA from Drexel University. He is a member of the American and Pennsylvania institutes of certified public accountants. Mark’s favorite vacation destination is his 100-year-old shore house in Ventnor, NJ. He enjoys fixing things, riding his road bike, and reading.
Monica is World Travel’s corporate counsel. She has previous in-house experience in the manufacturing and distribution industries where she advised her clients on practical strategies and solutions for both legal and business matters. Prior to her in-house experience, she worked in private practice where she advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and financial restructuring. She obtained her law degree and her MBA from Villanova University. Monica’s favorite vacation destination is Scotland. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, cooking and reading.
