How can we pay World Travel, Inc for upcoming travel expense?

Payments to WTI will be facilitated through a weekly ACH draw, reflecting the booking totals from the previous week. To reconcile any variances between booking and transaction activity, a monthly true-up will be conducted. Detailed backup reports for each ACH draw will be furnished by World Travel's finance team.

What are the WorldVC funding options?

Not if you chose the funding model with World Travel, Inc.  There is also an option to establish a direct relationship with US Bank for WorldVC. 

How does WorldVC streamline financial processes for our company?

WorldVC automates payment processes, reducing reliance on traditional expense methods. It offers detailed reconciliation reports, ensuring transparent and efficient financial tracking.

Can WorldVC transactions be seamlessly integrated into our existing financial systems?

US Bank integrates with many ERP such as Workday, Oracle and Certify.  However, note that matching receipts to transactions is not supported for FBO through World Travel offering.

What cost considerations should I be aware of when implementing WorldVC?

There is a one-time $3,000 implementation fee, and a $4.00 transaction fee each time a virtual card is modified at the point of sale. 

A start-up deposit is required prior to deployment of WorldVC to cover one month’s worth of hotel spend. The deposit is due by ACH payment 5 days from the signature of the SOW.

Will the payment for charges on WorldVC be paid to WTI and will the VC fee be noted in addition to the current contracted booking fee with WTI?

Yes, payments for charges on WorldVC will be made to World Travel, Inc. The Virtual Card (VC) fee will be noted separately and added in addition to the current contracted booking fee with WTI. 

How can WorldVC help mitigate fraud and unauthorized expenses?

WorldVC eliminates the need for personal cards, reducing the risk of unauthorized expenses. Additionally, its customized tolerances and spend limits enhance control and security.

What legal documentation is required before we can start using WorldVC?

Prior to implementation, clients are required to sign a statement of work and an ACH authorization form as part of the necessary legal documentation.

The standard implementation process takes approximately four weeks from the signing of the statement of work. You can initiate implementation when ready.

Yes, WorldVC can be used for international travel where credit card use is not prohibited. There are no additional fees, making it a convenient and secure solution for global hotel reservations.

Can I use my WorldVC card to guarantee reservations for another traveler?

No, WorldVC cards are only valid for the cardholder’s travel reservations. Funding is added to the traveler’s WorldVC card for the hotel stay booked through World Travel.

There is an optional application specifically created to fund hotel stays for guest travel. Travel managers can contact their account manager to learn more about this option.

Can I use WorldVC for all my business travel expenses, including flights and meals?

Currently, WorldVC is designed for hotel transactions. However, it plans to expand coverage to include air travel, car services, restaurants, and various hotel vendors by Q3 2024.

What is the process for adding WorldVC to my mobile wallet, and is it compatible with different platforms?

Adding WorldVC to your mobile wallet is easy. Open your mobile wallet app, tap on the "+" sign, add card details, and accept terms. WorldVC is compatible with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.

Can I use WorldVC for international business travel, and are there any additional fees involved?
Yes, WorldVC can be used for international travel without additional fees. It provides a secure and convenient solution for hotel reservations globally.  There are a few exceptions.  In certain countries, only cards that are issued by national banks can be used as payment. According to the US Treasury Department, these are countries not supported: Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, and Russia.
