Trump Extends Social Distancing Guidelines to April 30, 2020
President Donald Trump said Sunday he would extend his social distancing guidelines to April 30 as novel coronavirus continues to spread throughout the US. Trump said that modeling shows that the peak of the death rate will likely hit in two weeks, but stressed that he hopes the country will be on its way to recovery by June 1. Read more.
China To Lift Travel Restrictions on April 8, 2020
Residents in China have been subject to strict restrictions on movement for several weeks, and for nearly two months in the Hubei province. However, with the last of the temporary Coronavirus hospitals now closed in Wuhan, and the majority of stores reopening, travel restrictions on residents are also set to be lifted on April 8.
