Aer Lingus has introduced a short-term policy to allow
customers with non-changeable tickets traveling from the US to
Ireland to cancel their travel dates free of charge.
All current and new bookings may be cancelled anytime up to 3/31/03
and rebooked for travel until the end 12/31/03. |

Destinations and travel period may be changed and are subject
to any difference in fare, taxes and surcharges. |

Air France is waiving certain restrictions to allow customers
more travel flexibility as tensions in the Middle East continue.
This policy will allow customers to change both their travel
date and destination without paying the usual service charge
required on most non-refundable economy fares. |

Canada code share flights operated by ZIP and Star Alliance
partners as well as Aeroplan reward travel. |

Fare Rules & Restrictions |
Customers who have commenced travel to the U.S. or
international destinations on discounted tickets and now wish to
return earlier than planed to Canada or their point of origin may
also rebook their travel at no penalty.
Regular travel restrictions on discounted tickets continue to
apply for travel within Canada.
To be eligible, customers who choose to postpone their travel
need to contact Air Canada Reservations at 1-888-247-2262 or their
travel agent prior to the originally scheduled departure date.
Future reservations are subject to availability and applicable
fare rules.
Air Canada continues to monitor developments closely and will
communicate any future changes to its policies, if necessary. |
To qualify, customers must have purchased tickets in the U.S.
to any international destination. The original tickets must be
issued on or before 3/31/03 and have a departure date on or
before 11/30/03.
Changes (Dates/Destination in the same country) are valid on
Air France coded flights only.
Passengers will be charged for any difference in fare due to
changes resulting from unavailability of original booking class,
travel during a higher travel period, different day of week,
routing, upgrade of class or cabin.
Air France will continue to monitor the Middle East situation
closely. Our policy will be updated as conditions warrant. |

Customers, who hold a confirmed and ticketed reservation to
Europe, the United States, Australia and Asia and wish to change
their travel plans due to the military conflict, will be able to
postpone their travel or rebook up to and including 7/31/03. |

Passengers will be guaranteed the same fare as they were
originally ticketed on within the applicable fare parameters.
Passengers, who have already started their journey and wish to

Any passenger who "no shows" for a flight will not be
eligible for these provisions. Normal ticketing conditions will
apply.
The refund policy as per the applicable fare will apply. |
Customers must be rebooked in the same booking class.
For customers changing to an alternative destination their full
ticket price will be credited against the fare to their new
destination. Any difference in the two fares or additional taxes
will need to be paid.
Change and service fees, however will be waived.
Customers traveling on Airpoints redemption tickets, who
wish to change their travel plans due to the military conflict,
will be able to postpone their travel or rebook up to and
including 7/31/03. Any difference in the Airpoints
redemption value of differing destinations must be covered by the
customers Airpoints. This also applied to any Airpoints redemption
bookings made on our partner airlines and Star Alliance carriers.
Future reservations will remain subject to availability and
applicable Airpoints terms and conditions. Change and service fees
will be waived.
If Airpoints customers wish to cancel their booking, the
booking can be cancelled with the appropriate points re-credited
to their Airpoints account.
Any disruption resulting from the military conflict is deemed
to be beyond Air New Zealand’s control and thus the airline is
not liable for any ancillary product such as accommodation, meals,
ground transportation and other passenger-related experience

If your ticket was originally purchased through a travel
agency, contact that travel agent to cancel and rebook your
flight.
If you purchased your ticket directly with Alaska Airlines you
can cancel your reservation now at alaskair.com. When you wish to
rebook your travel, call 1-800-ALASKAAIR.
If your reservations were booked using an Alaska or Horizon Air
Mileage Plan Award, call 1-800-ALAKAAIR. Miles can be re-deposited
without a fee. Change fees will be waived in accordance with the
Alaska Airlines Assurance Policy. If your reservations where
booked using a Partner Mileage Plan Award (e.g. British Airways),
call 1-800-307-6912. Miles can be re-deposited without a fee.
Change fees will be waived in accordance with the Alaska Airlines
Assurance Policy. |
Rebooking is subject to availability of the same class of
service, must reflect the same itinerary and terms and conditions
as originally booked. Seasonal and/or weekend surcharges on the
new travel dates will be collected when applicable, only the
change fees are waived.
Passenger who are already en route will be able to return to
their airport of origin without paying any of the penalties
required by the fare regulations.
In the case of cancellation and/or variation of scheduled
flights for operational reasons, passengers holding valid tickets
will receive assistance in the normal way, such as re-protection
on other flights, or a refund for the value of the unused part of
the ticket.
If the original class of service is not available tickets may
be rebooked in the next available class of service and the
passenger will be responsible for the difference between the
fares.
If the value of the new ticket is lower than the original fare
and the ticket is non-refundable the passenger will received a
credit for the difference in the form of a certificate valid
towards future travel on Alitalia.
Restricted tickets remain non-refundable, and cancellations and
full refunds are not allowed.

Passengers who have already used the outbound portion of their
ticket and wish to delay their return date may do so up to the
maximum validity of the fare. For a longer stay the ticket will be
stepped-up to the next applicable fare and the passenger will be
responsible for the difference between the fares.
The above policies apply only to passengers holding tickets
issued in the United States.
This procedure does not apply to "no show" passengers
(those who fail to check in or show up for their flights.)
All changes and re-bookings must be handled by the same entity
(Alitalia ticket office, travel agency, and web-site) that issued
the original ticket.

travel requirements depending on seat availability and applicable
fare conditions. Changes may not be possible on flights of
airlines other than those of the ANA Group).
Passengers wishing to postpone their itinerary should contact
All Nippon Airways up until the day before the departure date.
Reservations may be cancelled in the normal manner if no
contact is received before the applicable date.
The above procedures will also apply to changes to unused
ticket coupons of passengers who have already departed. |

Policy Applicability |
America West has one of the most customer friendly ticketing
policies in the industry. Those ticketing policies are being
extended for customers who want to change their travel plans due
to the conflict in Iraq.
The administrative change fee will be waived one-time for each
ticket when customers notify the airline during the time the
travel policy is in effect. This policy also applies to FlightFund
members who redeemed frequent flyer miles for tickets.
Applied to entire route system in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. |
American’s "Comfort Level Policy", offers
flexibility to all customers, including those with U.S. domestic
and international tickets, by allowing them to make a one-time
change to their travel plans without paying the standard change
fee.
This policy applies to tickets purchased any time through 4/19/03
for travel through 5/18/03.
The policy also applies to passengers who started travel prior
to 3/19/03 and wish to change their return. |

Fare Rules & Restrictions |
Customers must all America West reservations at 800-2FLY-AWA
(800-235-9292) before their first travel date to be eligible for a
change fee waiver, but they do not need to rebook their flight
immediately. Customers may also ask their travel agent to notify
the airline and rebook their flight.
To waive the change fee, the new departure date must be no
earlier than 30 days after the original departure date.
Customers have until 10/31/03 to complete their travel.
The airline will make an announcement if it becomes necessary to
extend that deadline.
Customers will be responsible for any difference in fare and
must qualify for all of the requirements of the new fare.
Customers may change the cities they are flying to and/or from.
Customers in the middle of a trip on the day the policy is
implemented will be allowed to change their return plans by
standing by for free any time through 3/26/03.
America West will provide additional procedural details for
travel agents through the www.ta.americawest.com
web site. |
To take advantage of this policy, customers must make the
change by 11:59PM 4/19/03 and no later than their
originally scheduled date of travel. Travel may be rescheduled for
any date through 12/31/03.
International tickets:
Purchased between 3/07 – 3/31/03 (except between
Canada and the U.S.) through 12/31/03 could be changed.
This policy, which is not contingent upon a military action of
"code red", still applies.
American will allow customers who purchase tickets between
those dates for travel through 12/31/03, to change their
itinerary one-time without paying the standard change fee. Tickets
must be changed by 5/31/03, or by the originally scheduled
travel date, whichever is earlier. Travel may be rescheduled for
any date through 12/31/03, and all re ticketed travel must
be completed by that date.
Under both policies, customers changing tickets will be subject
to any fare difference resulting from travel during a higher cost
travel period or day of week, upgraded booking class

Rescheduled travel must adhere to any applicable advance
purchase and minimum/maximum stay requirements.
Applicable change fees will be waived if all conditions of the
fare rules are met. All changes are subject to availability.

Customers who want to purchase airline tickets for future
travel but are hesitant due to the conflict in Iraq can do so
without incurring fees and penalties. ATA has established a
flexible travel policy that waives standard rebooking fees for
customers who wish to change their plans. This change is effective
immediately.
This policy applies to customers holding tickets issued prior
to 3/19/03. |
Policy applies to bookings sold and ticketed prior to 3/12/03
for travel through 4/07/03.
New booking sold and ticketed from 3/12/03 4/21/03 for
travel 4/01-12/31/03.
The one free change to the reservation must be made by 5/31/03. |

services to any destination British Airways flies to for travel

days from the start of the conflict.

Future reservations will be subject to availability and applicable
fare rules.
Tickets purchased after 3/19/03, will be subject to
rules applicable to the fare purchased.
ATA will continue to monitor the situation and make policy
changes as necessary or appropriate. |
This policy applies to through-ticketed journeys purchased in
North American for transatlantic travel from North America to any
British Airways online destination around the world.
British Airways will allow 1 change; free of charge, into the
same class of service as originally booked. One change is defined
as: 1) one change on the outbound flight only, or 2) one change on
the inbound flight only, or 3) one change to both the outbound and
inbound flight in same transaction.
Any seasonal or weekend differentials must still be collected.
The original minimum/maximum stay rules apply and all travel
must be completed by 12/31/03.
Any rebooking must be in the same class of service as
originally booked. This applies to all fares including wholesales,
consolidator, adhoc groups etc. For Group bookings this policy is
subject to space availability, and re-negotiation of Nett Rate.

Once the changes have been made, the passenger can retain their
tickets for use on their rebooked journey with British Airways.
All you need to do is contact the location where you made your
original booking to make any changes on your booking.
Bookings through Travel Agencies or online partners (i.e.
Expedia, Orbitz, and Travelocity) must be referred to original
travel agencies/partners.
Add-ons (not separate tickets) booked as part of an eligible
transatlantic long-haul fare are included in this promotion.
The permissible ticket changes outlined in this policy can be
made without a waiver.
British Airways will continue to monitor the situation and post

originating on any BMI/United code share flight in the USA for
travel to Manchester and connecting flights to Glasgow, Edinburgh
and Aberdeen.

Passengers holding confirmed bookings on Cathay Pacific’s
services to Dubai, Bahrain and Riyadh for departure through 5/17/03
may change their travel plans without paying a penalty charge.
Rescheduled travel must be completed by 9/30/03.
Customers are advised to make the change on/before 4/17/03. |

There are currently no changes to the booking policy on BMI’s
domestic and European services. |

Travel may be rescheduled for any date through 12/31/03.
These policies are subject to change, with or without notice. |
Policy applies to restricted-fare transatlantic tickets issued
on/before 3/19/03 for travel scheduled from 3/19-12/31/03;
and domestic U.S. and non-transatlantic tickets issued on/before 3/19/03
for travel scheduled to begin by 5/31/03.
A refund will not be given, and the customer must pay any
difference in fare. A non-refundable Delta travel credit will be
given if the new itinerary results in a lower fare. Original

one-time to allow flexibility for customers who want to change

travel date, whichever is earliest.
Travel can be rescheduled for any date through 12/31/03. |

When tickets are rebooked or re-issued, the full fare of the
unused ticket will be applied on the purchase of a new ticket
waiving re-booking or re-issue fees.
Changes must be requested at least 24 hours in advance of
scheduled flight departure.
If value of the new ticket is higher than the original one
(i.e. seasonal fare application, reservation class, destination,
etc.) the customer pays only for the difference to the applicable
fare. If value of new ticket is lower than the original and the
ticket is non-refundable, the passenger will receive a
non-refundable credit document (MCO) amounting to the difference,
to be used as payment for future travel on any Iberia service.
In case of re-issue, new ticket itinerary and fare conditions
apply.
For tickets covering travel that has already started, fare
conditions will apply less the change of return dates, that will
be allowed without penalty.
The waiver will apply only once during the qualifying travel
dates.
Any further changes, during the qualifying period, are subject
to the fare rules, unless Iberia provides an extension to the
waiver. In case of complete cancellation the passenger is entitled
to the refund according to the rules of the fare purchased. |
In case of flight cancellations the standard involuntary
re-routing procedures apply.
Reservations may either be cancelled and tickets used as credit
toward future transportation, or reservations may be rebooked for
future dates.
If a customer decides to cancel their flights before making a
new choice they may do so. The passenger will receive a credit
toward travel in the form of a MCO, valid for travel until 12/31/03.
New reservations must be made before 5/31/03. The MCO is
marked non-refundable.
All changes/cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior

Any passengers who "no shows" for a flight will not

One free change of reservation is allowed per booking.

The above procedures also apply to mileage award tickets of

travel requirements depending on seat availability and applicable

case of journeys not yet started he will not be charged with the

In the case of the cancellation of the entire journey with a
ticket that cannot normally be cancelled, the customer will
receive a credit note, which can be redeemed against the purchase
of a new Lufthansa flight ticket. A cash refund is not possible.

credit in the form of a non-refundable MCO towards future travel.
For customers traveling on a "Miles & More" award
ticket: in case of cancellation, miles will be returned to the
customer’s account waiving the service charge. In case of
rebooking, the rebooking fee will be waived. Flights may only be

This waiver will be afforded to the passenger only once during
the qualifying travel dates. Any further changes, during the

the cancellation fee. This voucher can be used toward any future
travel on SWISS within one year from your original date of travel.
This means that if you return your ticket, the cancellation fee
